Everyone at United was thrilled to get an in person update from Will this week at his appointment, and to see him up and walking again. For those of you unfamiliar with Will’s story you should absolutely check out the linked article. Prior to receiving his bilateral arm transplants, he wore upper extremity prostheses provided by United (and still ambulates using bilateral leg prostheses from United). All of us at United are continually amazed by Will’s unwavering positivity and quiet drive that has allowed him to achieve amazing milestones throughout his rehabilitation process. We’re sure there are many more accomplishments to come, and we look forward to supporting him in any way we can.
