United Prosthetics was proud to be one of the primary sponsors of the Amputee Coalition of America’s Limb Loss Education Day at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, MA this past weekend. Not only did it gives us an opportunity to spend some time with our long-time patients, Dawn and Femita (as seen in the photo), but also gave us a chance to interact with some new faces of individuals living with limb loss. It’s always constructive to hear people’s stories, and see what’s been positive for them throughout their rehabilitation journey. We believe it all starts with getting the right information about the options available to you, which is why we cherish this opportunity to speak first hand to the amputee population.
