Today’s Globe has a great article about United and our evolution over the past 100 years. The article talks about some of the Martino’s memories of growing up in this industry and the vast technological changes that have swept through the industry.
To show how advanced the field has become the article discusses specifically the myoelectric arms that we provided to Katie O’Halloran (see some of our previous blog post for her story) and the many improvements they have brought to her life. We are proud to say that our upper extremity program has grown to be the most robust in New England, from our ability to obtain insurance authorizations all the way through coordination of post fitting physical and occupational therapy.
