Joe was in the office yesterday to receive his new prosthetic arm, which is designed to help him return to playing ice hockey and kayaking. As a child, Joe played with the American Amputee Hockey Association (http://www.amputeehockey.org.
As you can see, his new prosthesis incorporates a terminal device (“hand”) that is designed to clamp a hockey stick. He also received another terminal device that works the same way with a kayak paddle.
Good luck out there Joe, and we look forward to some of those kayaking photos.
