Here’s the video of Femita qualifying for the 100m dash. She can be seen screaming by in the far lane wearing bright pink (also note, she is the only amputee in the race!). Femita, a long time member of the United Family, has just recently taken to running with a prosthesis and has certainly shown a natural ability on the track. The running prosthesis she is wearing was donated by United Prosthetics in conjunction with the Challenged Athletes Foundation. We very much look forward to supporting her in her quest for gold at the 2016 Paralympics!! We’ll be sure to keep you posted on her accomplishments.
