Femita recently checked in with some updates on her world class running career. In July she set a personal record at the World Championships in London. After that stellar performance in the 200m she is now ranked fifth in the WORLD! Those of you following along may remember, Femita earned a chance to run in the Paralympic Games in both the 100m and 200m dashes last Olympic cycle. Despite being so accomplished, she has only been running on a prosthesis for about 2 years. She received the prosthesis seen in the picture as a joint donation from United Prosthetics and Ossur as part of their Challenged Athletes Foundation.
